Symphony I/O Release 4 Supported Features

Features supported in this release (4.1)

• Symphony audio interface mode supports the following features:

  • Symphony 64 - connection of 1 Symphony I/O per port, maximum 2 Symphony I/Os connected to 1 Symphony 64 PCIe card.

  • Symphony Mobile - connection of 1 Symphony I/O

  • Complete Routing in Maestro 2

  • 2 low latency mixers

  • Loop Sync clock configuration

• Pro Tools HD audio interface mode supports the following features:

  • Connection of 1 Symphony I/O per Avid PCIe card, included Core, HD Process and HD Accel PCI, HD Accel Core and HD Accel PCIe cards; maximum 4 Symphony I/Os connected to 4 Pro Tools HD PCIe cards.

  • Connection of 1 Symphony I/O per port to an Avid Pro Tools HD Native PCIe card - maximum 2 Symphony I/Os connected to 1 HD Native PCIe card.

  • Loop Sync clock configuration

• USB audio interface mode supports the following features:

  • Maximum of 1 Symphony I/O, 16 channels of bi-directional audio at sample rates up to 96kHz

  • Complete Routing in Maestro 2

  • 2 low latency mixers

• Standalone audio interface mode supports the following features:

  • Connection of 4 Symphony I/Os to Maestro 2

  • Complete Routing in Maestro 2

  • 2 low latency mixers

• All audio interface modes: 1 or 2 of the following I/O Modules per Symphony I/O in any combination:

  • 8 Analog I/O + 8 Optical I/O

  • 8 Analog I/O + 8 AES I/O

  • 16 Analog IN + 16 Optical Out

  • 16 Analog OUT + 16 Optical In

• 8 Channel Mic Pre IO Module: 1 per Symphony I/O (a 8x8 or 16 In IO Module must be installed in the lower IO Module slot).

• Apogee Maestro 2 software

Compatibility with other Apogee Hardware and Software

The version of Apogee Maestro installed with Symphony I/O Release 4.1 is currently compatible with the following Apogee products:

• Duet FW

• Ensemble

• ONE

• Duet USB
